The Posa Posa of Positano is one of the Amalfi Coast's oldest and best-loved hotels. Like great part of the coastal architecture, the hotel has been built on precipitous terraces carved into the cliff face, almost directly above the sea.

Each and every one of Hotel Posa Posa's romantic bedrooms and suites has a balcony or terrace from where breathtaking views of Positano and the sea can be seen. Lovely hotel, with a truly lovely staff and we had a very comfortable room. Would absolutely return. Great views too! Front desk answered every question and restaurant staff always went over and beyond. Couldn't imagine a better place to stay in Positano.

Desperate, lousy hotel that is washed up and needs a new owner to invest capital. It’s not that clean either!

It only received two stars because of the people! This hotel is so washed up and needs investment, it’s living on its past! TV hasn’t worked, phone in the room is disconnected as the dial tone plays all the time. AC doesn’t work. Bed is old and tired, mold in the dimly lit bathroom, shower/bath/ jacuzzi is from the seventies. Furniture has peeling veneer, grandma’s desk is only place to put stuff aside from the dirty table. I’d avoid this place at any cost, 335€ for a worn out Best Western is crazy! Breakfast is a C- but the staff are lovely except for receptionist tonight who didn’t care that we didn’t have a functioning TV in our room! Dreadful hotel!

I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and the staff. The room was lovely with spectacular view. The Air conditioning worked beautifully and made for a confortable sleep. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the restaurant Mirage was one of the best in Positano, both were located on outdoor terrace with amazing view. Highly recommend this amazing hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate our Honeymoon in Italy. We can’t thank the hotel Posa Posa enough for making our stay one to remember. We had a wonderful time! The views are awesome and the staff is amazing! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, very characteristic, clean and close to the centre. We ate at their restaurant “Mirage” and we loved it, the food was delicious and the terrace overlooking Positano was outstanding. Highly recommended and will definitely be back!
